HI-Quik Cardiac Troponin I Rapid Card Test
Matters of heart are a serious issue, timely diagnosis is Important
Cardiac markers are protein molecules released into the blood stream from damaged heart muscle. These bio markers have a characteristic rise and fall pattern. Troponin I and T are very specific and sensitive indicators of damage to the heart muscle (myocardium). Troponin I levels increases above normal in 4-6 hours from onset of MI (Myocardial Infarction), reaches a peak at around 12 hours and remains in blood stream for 7-10 days. This makes it the most suitable biomarker for diagnosis of AMI/ Heart failure.
